Where do we go from here…
February 3, 2009In short, we go on Hiatus.
I’ve decided to put Tea and Chat on hold for the moment whilst I decide where to go with the podcast. There are many things that I like about the show and things that I want to keep doing but I’m also interested in exploring new directions and possibilities. I’m hoping this will be a short hiatus and I don’t plan on pod-fading on you.
I still want to podcast and edit Shattered Empire and perhaps the two shows will merge into an entertaining hybrid. On the interview side of things, I still want to do that. I must admit though, that the physical time needed to become familiar with a podcaster’s work means that the time between interviews will probably increase.
When will the show be back? Soon, I hope.
What will it be like when it does return? I’ve no idea yet but I’m looking forward to finding out.
Until then, thank you all very much for accompanying me on this roller coaster, it’s been a pleasure.

I’m sad but take your time, I know the wait will be worth it. This little hiatus just means I’ll be able to catch up with all my other podcasts waiting in the wings.

No disappearing you hear
I see that I was your final interview before you went on haitus. Did I cause you to throw in the towel, or did you decide that our chat just couldn’t be topped?
On a more serious note, I am looking forward to hearing more of Shattered Empires (thanks for the sneak peek). Alternating chapters of that with occassional interviews may be a nice balance and give you some breathing room on both projects–or drive you crazy.
